Hello Dear Parents,

First of all I wanted to wish all the mother’s a happy International women’s day! I hope you are all having a wonderful day.

This week we will be sending the report cards on Friday. if you still have the envelope in which we sent last report cards please send it back with the kids so that I can send you the new report card at the end of the week.

Also, if the kids already finished reading the books they checked out from the library, please send them back as well so that they can check out another book.

I just wanted to remind you all for the school’s policy for Valentine’s day. The kids should not bring any chocolate or candy to give out to the other kids, only cards or any other small presents are allowed.

Hello Dear Parents!

For the parents who speak Spanish, I have been sending home short readings for the kids to read and answer some questions for homework, I wanted to ask you all to please not read the stories for them. The kids should be pausing after every comma or period as well as, reading the stories 2 or 3 times to guarantee that they are fully understanding what they’re reading, If the kids don’t understand the meaning of specific words, you can help them or if they’re pronouncing a word wrong you can correct them, but please allow them to read on their own in order to improve their reading comprehension.

Next week we will be talking about sound, for our project each kid will need two plastic cups, a string and if one of you could kindly help us with a roll of clear nylon (the one used for fishing). HAPPY 2020 DEAR PARENTS !!
2020 is here!
Parents, I want to start this year by giving you thousands of thanks for your manifestations of love and the Christmas gifts you sent me. They really made my Christmas very pleasant. A thousand thanks for your generosity and appreciation. May this new year be of much prosperity, abundance and well-being for each and every one of you and for your families.
I hope you had very happy and  restful holidays! I was delighted to see you all at the end of the year party, the children were very excited and it was so nice that all of you were able to share with them this moment.  The pictures of our end of the year party will be posted on the pictures section of my blog!

Newsletter Jan. 6-10,2020

Hello dear parents  

I am pleased to invite you to the different family events that we will have during the next two weeks, the kids are very excited to be able to share at these events with their families!

The holiday Market will be this Friday, December 13. This year the kids will no have specific costumes because we will be hosting the event outside, so we ask that the kids come dressed in warm clothes, because it will be very cold. The only thing that they should bring is a red Santa Claus hat as well as some maracas or jingle bells (one for each hand) to use during the presentation. I think you might be able to find some at the dollar store but I am not sure.

The whole family is cordially invited!

Date : Friday, December 13 

Time:  6:00 -8:00pm

Attendance: Family

The students will participate in a Wax Museum on December 17th. 

In connection with their unit, each student will pick one of the historical figures they have been learning about and will share some important facts in Spanish about that person.

On Monday the kids will take home their lines, that they should memorize for the presentation. We will also be practicing every day next week in class.

On Friday the 13th we will have a group rehearsal in the classroom which will be their formative exam for the unit. The kids must bring their costumes or things that represent their character to the classroom that day, which will allow me to figure out how long it will take to get and the kids dressed and ready for their presentation on the 17th.

Date: Tuesday, December 17 

Time   9:30-10:00 am in the gym. 

Attendance: Only Parents

And last but not least we will be having our classroom holiday party on December 19!

Our room om is very kindly organizing the party with all of you so that we can enjoy and share an amazing time with family!
